Declutter And Refresh Your Phone in 5 Easy Steps
Do this quick reset at the beginning of each month to keep your phone (and your brain!) clear AND ready for what’s next. Just as physical clutter takes up mental space in our lives, so does digital clutter. By staying in charge of our technology—and all of the digital clutter it brings—we can step into a more simplified life.
Each month:
- Delete old messages and text threads
- Clear storage space
- Update your wallpaper to something FUN or something that brings you joy!
- Unsubscribe to automated texts and notifications
- Clean up your camera roll (stay tuned for more tips!)
- BONUS: Convert your video clips into ONE monthly video to save storage space and re-watch happy memories with the whole family! (📌 FREE GUIDE on how to do this HERE)
Here’s the breakdown of each task:
1. Delete old messages and text threads. Scroll to the end of your messages and delete no-longer needed text threads.
2. Clear storage space. Go to “Settings” > “General” > “iPhone Storage” and review what’s taking up the most space. Delete accordingly.
3. Update wallpaper. Choose something that makes you happy! If we’re picking up our phones constantly, they might as well make us SMILE.
4. Unsubscribe to automated texts and notifications. Unsubscribe from automated texts by replying “STOP.” Then delete the text thread. (You can also do this for emails!)
5. Clean up your camera roll. Delete old screenshots and duplicate or blurry photos. Bonus: Organize your photos each month!
BONUS: Convert your video clips into ONE monthly video to save storage space + re-watch happy memories with the whole family! (📌 FREE GUIDE on how to do this HERE) Would you rather snap your fingers and have this be done for you? I got you. Find more information here.
